Donate to the Flea Market

If you have unwanted items, consider donating them to the Flea Market! All donations are tax deductible and proceeds from the Flea Market fund Historic Macon's mission of revitalizing our community by preserving architecture and sharing history. Historic Macon accepts donations of most items, excluding clothing, mattresses, and electronices. Jewelry and accessories, such as pocketbooks and belts, are also accepted. Large donations such as cars and boats have been donated in the past and are welcome this year!

How to donate

Small donations can be left on the back porch of the Sidney Lanier Cottage, located at 935 High Street.

For larger donations, please schedule a time to drop them off at the downtown Flea Market location by contacting Emily Hopkins at ehopkins@historicmacon.org or calling 478-742-5084.

If you need to arrange a pick-up for your donations, please contact Emily Hopkins at 478-742-5084 or email ehopkins@historicmacon.org.

Donate your time and talents!

Historic Macon's Flea Market is possible because of the help of our dedicated volunteers. Some volunteers have been working on the sale since it began over 30 years ago while others just started last year. Either way, Historic Macon needs YOU to help make the 38th annual Flea Market a success!

How to volunteer

Contact Emily Hopkins at 478-742-5084 or email ehopkins@historicmacon.org. Also sign up for Historic Macon's volunteer eBlast that lists upcoming Flea Market workdays.

We especially need help from strong, able-bodies for Flea Market pick-ups.
